Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of dreamcity3d.com and any order you place with Dream City 3D, a service of Dream City Ventures ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

What we make

We produce custom 3D-printed items, including figurines generated from a photograph you supply, and we print models you provide. Nearly everything we sell is made to order and personalised to you, which affects cancellation and returns — see below.

How a custom figurine order works

1. You submit a request with a photo, a size, a quantity and any notes. This is a request, not a purchase.
2. We review it and either accept it or decline it. We will tell you either way.
3. If accepted, we produce a 3D model and email you a personal link to review it.
4. You approve the model, or ask for changes. Nothing is charged before you approve.
5. Once you approve, you pay, and the item enters our print queue.
6. We print, ship, and send you tracking.

Revisions are free up to the number stated on your review page. Beyond that, contact us and we will work something out.

Prices, quotes and payment

Prices shown on the site are in US dollars and depend on size and quantity. The price we quote you when we accept your request is the price you pay, and it is confirmed again before payment. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Sales tax is added where required.

Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Your order enters production once payment is confirmed.

What the finished item will look like

A 3D print is not a photograph. Colours are limited to the filaments we print with, fine detail is limited by the printer and by the size you choose, and small layer lines are normal. The preview we send you before payment is shown precisely so you can judge this for yourself — it reflects the flat colours the item will actually be printed in. Approving the preview means accepting that appearance.

Small variations between individual copies of the same design are normal and are not defects.

The photo you upload

By uploading an image you confirm that:

• you own it or have permission to use it;
• you have the consent of anyone identifiable in it, or you are their parent or guardian;
• it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.

You keep ownership of your photo. You give us permission to store it and to process it — including sending it to the third-party services described in our Privacy Policy — only for the purpose of producing your order.

We may decline any request at our discretion, and will refund anything already paid if we do. We will decline requests that appear to involve someone else's likeness without consent, copyrighted or trademarked characters, or content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or depicts real violence.

Cancellations and returns

Before you approve the model and pay, you can cancel at any time at no cost. Just tell us, or ignore the approval link.

After payment, your item is personalised and made to order, so it cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately — if we have not started printing we will refund you in full.

This does not affect your rights if something is wrong with the item. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the model you approved, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will reprint it or refund it. Non-personalised items bought from the store may be returned unused within 14 days.

Shipping and delivery

Production time depends on size, quantity and queue length; we will give you an estimate and it is an estimate, not a guarantee. Once we hand the parcel to the carrier, delivery timing is theirs. You are responsible for giving us a correct, complete shipping address — if an item is returned to us because the address was wrong, you will need to pay reshipping. Local pickup is available where offered at checkout.

Accounts

You do not need an account to order. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that is being used abusively.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not use it to infringe anyone's rights or break the law.

Our liability

We provide the site and our services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
